Volunteer Requirements

All families are required to volunteer for two opportunities unless they have opted for the volunteer buyout fee. We ask that every family commit to at least one volunteer opportunity at the M&M tournament to meet this requirement.

Volunteer Opportunities

Here are some examples of the many volunteer opportunities families can expect during the season:

Team Manager

The Team Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Responsibilities include:

Organizing Team Schedules

  • Work with the head coach to coordinate posting practice schedules and game times, ensuring all families are informed in advance.

Communicating with Parents

  • Serve as the main point of contact for parents, keeping them updated on schedule changes, tournament details, and any other important information.

Parent Consent Forms for Tournaments

  • If the tournament requires signed consent forms from parents, the team manager will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and submitting completed consent forms to the event organizers in a timely manner.


Game Day Support

Scorekeeper

  • Keep track of the score during games. 

Timekeeper

  • Operate the game clock and assist with managing penalties, halftime or other breaks with the guidance of the referee.

Field Setup/Cleanup Crew

  • Set up goals, nets, cones, and other equipment before the game and help clean up afterward.


M&M Tournament Support

The M&M Tournament is a co-hosted event by Muskego and Mukwonago, held at Mukwonago High School.

As part of this exciting event, each family is asked to volunteer for at least one opportunity to help ensure the success of the tournament.

M&M Tournament

Volunteer opportunities for the M&M tournament will include (but is not limited to) the following:

Line Painting

  • Help paint the field lines in the days leading up to the tournament to ensure everything is ready for game day.

Tournament Setup & Breakdown

  • Assist with setting up and tearing down event spaces, fields, and equipment before and after the tournament.

Registration Table

  • Help check in teams, distribute materials, and assist participants with any questions.

Volunteer Check-In

  • Welcome volunteers, provide them with necessary information, and ensure all shifts are covered.

Scorekeeping

  • Manage and update game scores during the tournament, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Awards and Raffle Coordination

  • Assist in raffles or giveaways held during the event.

Timekeeping/Horn

  • Manage the game clock and sound the horn at the appropriate times to signal game changes.

Concessions Stand

  • Assist with food and beverage sales, inventory, and customer service.

Grillmaster

  • Cook and manage the grill for food service, ensuring everything is prepared and ready for spectators and participants.

Apparel Sales

  • Assist with the sale of tournament-branded apparel, including shirts, hats, and other items.

Garbage and Recycling

  • Help keep the tournament area clean by regularly emptying trash and recycling bins throughout the day.
